Title: Win XP not recognizing MS-Precision pro ?

Blood MS products not talking to each other ... even tho MS Siudewinder is in the selection and it says it's auto detect it won't respond.

It's unfortunately the gameport device and not the USB version of the precision pro

Post by: mrsid2 on March 04, 2002, 06:04:53 AM: Windows 2000 and XP have native support for microsoft joysticks. You can try to install the sticks manually from the stick controller menu, just choose 'add' in gaming options and set the stick type you have.(http://users.kymp.net/cable130/gaming options.jpg)

They have a downloadable patch which is supposed to fix the problems with joystick detection (only meant to be used if you have a problem like yours, not all have.)
