swager you were 45 feet away in a spit 9 man id kill for that easy of a target spit 9 armed with rockets at 45 feet well id hate to be in that bomber. id do what i do wit h all bombers blast its both wings off with rockets from my spit 9 then follow the fuselauge as it falls and blow that up to. what fun what fun.

Actually at this time I had already shot off the rudder and was overshootng the B17.  The pilot must of been lining up for his bombing run for he never fired a shot at me.  Notice the bombay doors are open.  The B17 soon flipped over and fell to the earth.  There were no parachutes.

 I have a snapshot where the entire rudder is lit up with hit sprites.
