OK i've been away awhile and am curious if somethings have changed...
tracers in GV's and Buffs... are they still visible to your opponent whether you have turned them off or not? (which is how they used to be..)
I have noticed a few people think their tracers are invisible when in the past they sure as hell weren't +)
GV tracers.. at one point you could only see tracers from other gv's if you were within 3.3k or something close to that. Is this still the case?

I will have to try that on the LAN at home to see how it works. I don't think tracers show when you have them disabled... but I never knew that ever happened at all.

you can't see tracers from attacking planes that have them disabled.
you CAN see tracers from GVs before you are within icon range of them.

Okey..
anyone have the answer?
The two posts above crashed and burned spectacularly...

huh? I just answered both of your questions dude, but I'll try again.
If someone else has tracers disabled and shoots at you, you will NOT see tracers on your end.
You CAN see tracers on GVs beyond 3K - GV icon range.

Sorry Kratzer but I guess I may not have been clear...
My question is not about tracers in fighters, its about tracers in buffs and GV's only.
I know you can see GV tracers from over 3k, can you now see them at 4k? (in the past you couldn't)
In the past you could turn off the tracers and when you were in a GV or buff you couldn't see your own tracers BUT the enemy could. This was done on purpose. I just want to know for sure if this still applies.
Guess i can find someone and do a test +)
