I wouldn't hold my breath on that one.  HT's last comment on it was more to the affect of "We shouldn't need one... it should never get to the point where one person needs to be squelched permanently by everyone."

AKDejaVu, I agree with you and HT on that one, but every day I have to come in and squelch Socrates even though his barbs are not directed at me. I can only stand so much.

My alternative to the Squelch List:

If 50 of your team mates squelch you, you are muted, and your icon turns into a dunce cap.  :)

I just get sick and tired of the loggin in and seeing the same people with the same 'misinformed' whines.  Unfortunately I have a hard time ignoring these as you will have noticed...

I consider it an inconvenience to squelch them manually every time i login, and that first whine may set me off!

Perhaps have the list NOT enabled at login, permitting the user a dot command to load it if he wishes.

i dont squelch people most of the time because every now and then the do have something usefull to add to the conversation.

but when i do its usually socratese and the whole "de ol onz of air warrior" squad. and a few other that i cant think of at the moment.

 I forget his name but he's usually the short one with a hand tucked in his coat and blathering in CAPS quite a lot.  He also seems to experience frequent bouts of tourettes.
