I quit flying organized events altogether a few months ago because of the stress involved. I have no desire to fly events anymore. Being flight leader/ CO is no fun when there's no play involved. I eard something about the TOD organization. If you thought that you had god's mission in your hands to be a CM, well that's half true. People enjoy TODs and they are a pain to organize. Take organizing TODs like being shot down in the MA when you are an AH ace. It appear to me somewhat stupid to resign from AH for something that people will not even remember in one month. You are hurting yourself only:confused:

Funked,I'm sorry to hear you leaving AH. I dont have a clue on why have you gone away, and I'm sorry to see you go this way. Knowing as I do how is it to leave a sim you like (....several times :D) I think your reasons must really strong...or you'll be back sooner than what you think ;).

I sincerely hope your reasons AREN'T strong so you are back to AH soon, because you and you're squad are one of the few good things this game still had as an asset (or at least for a luftwobble whiner jerk like me. Maybe the niki crowd doesn't give a toejam).

Anyway I'm sure we'll meet soon at another sim and place :). Hope to wing and fly with you again soon :)

[edit] I just saw what caused you leaving, funked, and I must add a couple of thoughts.

1- I now like you much more than what I did before ;). Maybe you lost your temper but you also showed you have lots of it; and that you won't tolerate the kind of abuse you were receiving without a proper answer. That's good ;).

2- That an old AH hand, and a so good one funked, leaves AH because a stupid ex-AW jerk (who prolly hasn't been here for more than 3 months) doesn't know how -or doesnt understand that- it's better to step back and rethink when/if you can, before doing something plain WRONG in an IMPORTANT,BIG event like the incoming scenario.........its not just a shame. It's almost a crime.

By the way, I know I may be stepping ahead too far,now that this game is not my cup of tea anymore; but I spent a lot of hours in the past flying AH and I know Funked enough to know that if he leaves, AH will miss an excellent pilot, leader, mate, planner and source of information.

And simply I don't like that.[/edit]

Lots of fun chit...No one telling us what to do or asking what they should do... I think the game is designed to be enjoyed that way. Drinking beer, BSing on RW, racking up the dweebs or dieing in the ack...You start to think its more than that and you are leaving yourself wide open for some frustration.

Grr, annoying. I know I've had some complaints in the early scenarios before I learned about the effort that goes into them, but the whines gotta stop :(.
