Title: "Could not initialize installation. (CRC)".... 1.09 wont install!

Took a while to download... I got it, and got that message when I opened the file.  Anyone else get that too?

Mine said it was done at just under 9mb...

of course I got a CRC as well, so now I have to start ALLL over again


Guess i'll see you guys in a few weeks, if the host is bogged down this much with the dl's just imagine what the game host is gonna be like...

same here happened twice

2nd time i noticed dl only got to 5 mb or so then acts as if its complete click to install same error........

lol

gettin tough better be worth it :)

Happened to me too on the first try...got the CRC could not initialize error.

Just tried the download again. It was changed to a different location and went very smooth. 70kb/sec average. Much better than the 9 byte/sec I was getting. :) (no...that's not a typo :))

Try it again.

hehe!  Attempted to redownload a few hours later (approximately 9:56 PM Central), went from a 1.4 KB/sec to a 250 KB/sec!  Woohooo cod bless cable modems.  Got the full 12 MB download and it installed flawlessly.  Now on to test this puppy out!
