Guys
I seem to be having trouble with the Film editer, I cant seem to get it to make an .AVI that I can use in anything, Media player and Studio 7 both say its not valid.
Is there a help file on how to use it better?
What codec are you guys using?
I want 640X480 at 30fps, and just cant get it to make a file that works.
Thanks

Tried it with 5 different codecs and also tried uncompressed, 640x480 and 320x240.
Even tried opening it with virtual dub w/o any luck.

I used the very bottom selection.. think its Microsoft something 4. Worked fine, though the viewer crashed on some .ahf files.

I made a couple of short 640x480 divex codec avi's last night. They worked great, but i did have the crash problem on one old film file. This is going to be my favorite feature :)

Ok does it make the .AVI file instantly?
Mine after you choose the codec starts to play, and does not seem to be doing much, and the files it makes are all 0KB. I tried all the different Codecs too.

Depending on the codec, it can take a loooooooong time. I think that many of the codecs lock up or fail tho. you're left with a 0 byte file.

I work it with a DivX - Slow Motion codec the first time,
and run it through avi editing utils and redo it with Indeo 5.06
