Title: Problems with Appending Film files
Post by: Kweassa on March 15, 2002, 09:34:42 AM
Ok.. experimenting with a bit more complex editing techniques.

If current process does not allow 'pauses' between avi recording, I figured I can sort of go around that problem by picking the parts that need editing, split them up, and combine the files into a new film file so there's a bit of 'leftover/overlap' scenes between each joints so I have some plenty of time to move camera angles and positions, and cut the overlapping frames out later.

But the problem is, I CAN'T use the append function at all. After I add the parts together, and press the Append Films button, the program says 'Done'. But the program keeps giving out "Invalid or old format" message when I try to play it, and the 'newfilm.ahf' isn't saved.

Is it only me getting this problem?

Anybody succeed in using "Append Films" function?

Same problem/error here, although I get it no matter what films I try and append.

I can't even get any of the cropped films to work individually, let alone append them.
