I have noticed since upgrading to windows xp that sometimes when i host an arena it crashes to a blue screen. this most often happens when i use a HTC map. It also happens from player made maps, but not as quickly. Could it have something to do with the size of the map? anyway...i cant figure out why it only happens sometimes...if anyone has had a similar problem please let me know .

Try and reinstall everything, Direct X8.1, latest drivers for your graphic card. Then remove AH and install it again.
Will hopefully work.
Allso, how much RAM do you have?

633 celeron
128 mb rab
16mb nvidea vanta
windows xp pro

Not sure of how much memory XP wants, howeverm 128 seems a bit low for it, Windows NT wants 128 to work good, and it's old. Try and reinstall it all, if it doesn't work, go get 128 more ram and it SHOULD work.

yeah, RAM is cheap, or was there another earth quake in Japan:)

okay this error ONLY happens when i host h2h aces high. I do not have this problem with any other program or application. It happens most frequently with the "Germany" map i download from ah website. I cannot run that map for more than 5 minutes without a blue screen error coming up. WHat the hell is going on here??? anyone know??? help.....

Been there, done that...sadly, its a rather vague error message tho.
What kind of network card do you have?
This is usually something to do with a card in your PC not being happy, or well supported. In my case, we had a network card cause this, and in another, we had a motherboard issue where anything logging into a service would spawn it.
Make sure you have current drivers, bios's etc
