Can any of you Saitek wizards help me out? My Cyborg Gold USB always torques aircraft left when flying MSFlightSim 2002 or X-plane. Doesn't matter if it's a single prop, twin prop or jet.
I've tried using the calibration tool within Windows control panels but it doesn't help.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi DMax,
I am aware of a problem with the Cyborg which Saitek called the "Left Drift" bug. but as far as I'm aware it was only present in drivers supplied on the CD with early sticks. How old are your drivers, perhaps this could be the problem. Is it a new development or has it always done it? Also did you load the software before plugging in the stick? If you plug the stick in before loading the software (Even for a millisecond) that can cause problems as well (Saitek have a program called "nukeusb" to allow you to start from scratch is that's the case - should be part of the SGE suite I think).
Hope this helps.

Snafu,
I never loaded the SGE cuz I programmed the stick using the AH set-up. WinXP "sees" the stick in CP gaming devices.
The SGE software that came with my old X-36 drove me nuts so I thought best just to avoid it altogether.
Given the fact that I don't use the SGE software I'm guessing I don't have any drivers to update. True?
Thanks for the tips though!

Saitek has new driver software for Cyborg USB users running XP.
It's "unsigned" and beta.
