AK-102
http://www.izhmash.ru/eng/product/ak102.shtml
Pretty useless gun. Every time I see a militia "warrior" with a similiar AKSU-74 automatic (5.45mm) in a subway - I hope that stupid has an empty magazine. It's extremely dangerous and inaccurate even in plain air, and in a subway it will ricochet and here we go... 850m/s unstable bullet...
The girl is nice, but I'll think twice before dating her ;)

i thought AKs were 7mm?
-
Hehe, Staga got me ;)
Minus, it is almost impossible to aim from AKSU. Now this "rifles" are being replaced by various 9mm machine-pistols.
Shooting 5.45 automatic in a subway or almost any closed compartment... You'll have better chance to kill yourself then to hit your "target". Giving such weapons to militia "warriors" is as dangerous as giving a hand grenade to every monkey from Sukhumi monkey farm. A fool with a noodle made of glass will breake it and cut his fingers.
"Militia" in Russian means "Soviet police force".

"A fool with a noodle made of glass will breake it and cut his fingers. "
Confucius?
:D
-
Yeah, Staga has it.
BenDover - the Russians adopted the AK74 (for the year) in the 70s - it fires a 5.45mm x 39 round. They went the American route in the thinking that high velocity, low recoil round was better.
-
then what have i been firing in flashpoint?!?!
-
AK-47 the older version with the 7.62x51 soviet.
-
If you have been firing an AK-74 in flashpoint, it has been 5.45mm.
-
.
-
i thought all ak-47 rifles were 7.62x39mm. personaly i prefer the .45 colt model 1911. You can get a kit to make it into a rifle. :D I love the U.S.A.:D :D
-
oops i meant 74.
-
AK-47 is 7,62mm, AK-74 5,45mm and AK-101 5,56mm (Nato cal.)
