Title: Using Film to Get Better
Post by: 28sweep on March 21, 2002, 11:39:57 AM
So I am flying and about to engage an enemy plane.  I press Alt-R to begin filming-right?  Either I win or die-so then I stop filming.  Where is the file stored-I guess in the film dir. in Aces High-right.  Then I review the film-what should I be looking for?  I read a post by AkNimitz (sp) and he said film, film, film-as a way of getting better.  What does he mean exactly?  Will this get me beyond the spray and pray rutt I have been in?  And does watching u're self screw-up over and over really help?

When you watch the film figure out who screwed up, what they could have done differently, and when they should have done it.

Turn trails on, and use the new film viewer to see what was going on from the other guy's perspective as well.  You should be able to get a good handle on why one fellow won the fight and the other lost.
