Title: Too all those bad lossers and dweebs out there.
Post by: Naudet on March 22, 2002, 10:03:08 AM
If you are one off those who think "i am unbeatable and i can never be beaten without dirty tricks.......etc. etc.".

Than now listen, i am tired of being called sucker, runner or anything else just cause i am not fighting on YOUR terms.
I fly in this game for fun, and i will fight only on my terms.

And i will never insult someone if he is flying on his terms and not playing my game.

So leave me alone, when you are not able to use ur advantage, when i dont turn, climb or  fight when i am on the short end of the stick and so on.

Today i ran into two of this guys, both of em just couldnt stand that i refused to be dump.
Especially the 2nd one (RaUmL) showed extremly stupidness. He could not use his 4Ks of alt advantage to his favour, and cause i took a snapshot opportunity during rolling scissors and scored hits on him, he insulted me of being a HO dweeb.
Hey folk, just cause you dont know how to fly, its not my fault.
Childish insult like "NAUDET u suck without help" dont tend to make the MA a friendly place.

Here the golden rule if you lose in the MA, take it easy, take it like a man. Dont cry on open channel, if you have to be angry than bite in the tableedge or hammer your fist in ur screen.
BUT LEAVE ME ALONE WITH THIS roadkill.
If you have ego probs, its YOUR problem and not MINE.
AND KEEP IT YOURS. I am not interested of your probs.

I want to have fun here, and people like you ruin that for me. And that makes me angry.

Puh, that was good, now i calmed down.

Yup, happened to me just the other night. I chose to laugh it off, but it isn't something I care to see everytime I kill someone.

Hangtime once said, "Shaddup, yer dead!" Good words. ;)

Ever since I discovered the magic phrase, I've never been bothered by whining dead people. My blood pressure has returned to normal, and I'm a much happier person.

And that magic phrase is:

heh, i saw those messages.....seems RuAml or whatever, is constantly talkin / taunting ....lots of guys do, but a lot of it seems to be in good fun.

Yes, I am a HO dweeb...i cannot pass up an available shot...but i have seen plenty of good pilots avoid me well enough that i have no chance to HO at all, so it seems that it takes 2 to tango, eh?  I dont whine when i get killed (twice today by Ruaml ;)) and i dont taunt if i get in a lucky shot....but sometimes channel 1 can be more entertaining than the game. :D

The funny part about people calling each other HO dweebs it that it always take 2 to HO. 95% of the time I HO I get sucked into it as to not give him my 6. It's only when I win do I get called a HO dweeb ;)

Naudet, every time they insult you -- it means they apraise your skill. If they call you a cheater -- then you just did great. See the real meaning beyound their word, and enjoy them. Problem will be when for some time no one insult you, it means your skills need some work again :)

Yes, i know, and after a good fight, i will always give a or "good fight" no difference if i win or lose. But once in a while even my patience ends.

Don't worry Naudet, you did the right thing.  Some people taunt just to see if they can get you to reverse, even if they know themselves that it would be a big risk to do so.  Others... I dunno.

I no longer consider HO's a "cardinal sin."  I've seen some pilots who were seemingly backed into a corner, surrounded by multiple cons, fight and take as many down with them as they can.  They will take any shot, HO, front quarter, whatever, because they are cornered.  This makes sense to me... so when you got the shot, take it.  These folks don't throw up on Ch 1 when they lose either.

I was told by someone (a great stick) that in a 1 v 1 situation, the better turner wins.  I tend to agree with this sentiment.  When I fly the Zeke, Spit V, or C202 there is nothing that I want more than a bnz'er to attempt to reverse when they don't have much of an E advantage.  Barring the other person being a great snapshooter, they will usually be forced to run or take to their parachute.  So when they do decide to leave the fight, I say nothing because I know it's the smart thing for them to do.

Yah, squelch is good ;)

I had a similar experience recently. I was flying an N1K2 and took an opportunity to dive away from a fight where there were far too many cons. Two Spits and an La-7 took up the chase. Both Spits quit after a few minutes, but the guy in the Lavochkin knew he would eventually catch up.

Then began the taunts:

"Hey nikidweeb, running home to momma?"

"Don't you know that when I catch you, you die."

And so on.

Well, I just kept on going until I sucked him into pistol range. At d.600, I pulled into a severe chandelle, and he hauled around in a nearly flat turn. 10 seconds later, I shot him out of his turn.

I entered the following into the Channel 1 buffer:

"Hey (his user name), don't YOU know that ya don't tug on Superman's cape?"

:D

After that: Silence.

The best way to deal with these guys is to simply kill them once you regain the advantage.

Two nights ago I raised hell about chute shooting with some Bish GVs. When no one would admit to being the culpret, I said, " then you all die." When I returned with a loaded 110G-2, they just shot me down again.... :D

The lessons? Don't let your mouth write checks your luck can't cover.

My regards,

Widewing

To clear that up, the guy didnt insult me prior to his death, he did it after his death.

Oh, I know that better than anyone. I buy cheap mice and cheap joysticks. It tend to break them. I think i've spent more replacing them than on my whole system.

Just taunt them back, what's the big deal?

It's just a game, sometimes you run into the bad apples, sometimes you don't.

all i had to say:  "so, is being dead fun?"

Hey Naudet, the MA or any place people compete aren't friendly places. But it is much more acceptable to me to be gracious in victory as it is in defeat. And some folks in the MA do run off at the mouth in any situation. Hehe, I like the response to a guy who just got killed "yer dead, shut up!" In fact, I have used that phrase myself on many occasions. It still doesn't shut em up but, I feel better about makin a fool of em ;)
Sometimes, depending on my mood, I feel as if a guy I fight made a sleazy move, and I say something but, I don't go on about it. Others do and they don't seem to mind makin tulips outta themselves. Pfft! Just squelch em. In another combat sim (now defunct) there were guys who would do similar things and challenge you to a duel. You go to fight them, wax their arses and then come back to the arena and they are all over you with praise but, they are still talking! LOL! In those cases, you kick their butts just to shut em up but, they come back and keep talking.
Don't let them get to you Naudet, just kill em, and then kill em again. Kill em til they log off; then you know you have won :D

Ok we might compete in the MA, but this is a game or not?

And what i always noticed, was that i had my best fights always with people whom i knew.
Guys that ever flew on the other side, and that you treated with respect and friendship.

Those fights wer fierce, every dirty trick was used, but each knew how it was meant.

The HO Dweeb is almost always the guy who won.  The loser is every bit the HO Dweeb, just way more pissed off about it.

Funny really!

Naudet...a suggestion. Park the dora for an hour and hop in a A6M or an N1K for old times sake. Go hunt the dweeblets down and show them just how much you really do suck without any help. A 10 kill sortie in an zeke can do wonders for your state of mind. :p

BTW Wotan, AG is quite mistaken. I taught Naudet everything he knows about flying a virtual airplane. Unfortunately, he's forgotten most of my teachings. MW50 fumes have been leaking into his cockpit and causing brain damage...or at least severe euphoria. Too bad. He used to be a pretty good stick. I'm not sure if he could hack it in a Japanese fighter anymore. :D
Perhaps when Frankenstein arrives?

BANZAI !!!

:D wotan, dbtrubl & AG (if he has a comp working) i still have this little notice pinned to my instrument panel, "use this button to start engine", and beside all that MW50 i am drinking, there is still a good old bottle of sake, that just waits for the KI-84 to arrive
