Hey -
My company, which has hosted our squad website (http://www.luftjagerkorps.com/) for years, and other employee websites for a long time as well, has recently said (well, our IT guy, who has it out for my site has recently said) that they are going to take it down because the 'content of the site makes it a target for hackers' (huh?).
So... anyway, I'm looking for good, cheap hosting that has the following:
Static IP so that I can use our domain name w/o hassle
50 - 100mb of space
Support for ASP
Support for Access DBs
Decent speed
NO Ads.
And did I mention CHEAP?
Anyone run a service, or know of a service like that?
Thanks!

If anyone else has suggestions, bring 'em on.

Check my site/service... http://www.checksix.net
$29 a month. No pop up ads, and you are supporting a fellow player ;)

He said cheap BD ;)
-
Yeah, that's a bit rich for our blood.
Also, it doesn't seem that site5 supports Access DBs... but I could be wrong.
-
Well, if you want to migrate to PHP/Mysql/Postgress... here's one that's pretty good & can be cheap (>5$/month)

I use Primenet Hosting (http://www.primenethosting.com). Lots of space & features cheap, and speedy access for people hitting your page.

SOB, does that include FTP access?
Yeah... a silly question, but many of the cheaper hosts don't use FTP... and from what I've seen PrimeNet looks to have a great package for only $6.

Umm, that business I referred is My Own
I know it can use Access Databases since I'm doing it with the web store
Good luck, either way

Yep on the FTP. I've been using them for about 2 years on the $10/mo plan and don't have any squeakes yet.
http://www.matthoffman.cc <--my page. I'm in the process of re-doing it, but I've got some video files to d/l in the 'other crap' section if you want to get an idea of speed.

Easy tiger - Read my post again - I said I wasn't sure if site5 allowed access databases. I'm sure yours does, but $30 a month is too much for me - nothin' personal. ;)
