Title: Request for HTC on hit sparks

:) The hit flashes/sparks, seem to be getting a little old.

Can it be changed to maybe a bit more better looking wad of white 'ball'?  Different hit marks for different ammunition would also be very obliged. A machine gun shell might give out small sparks, and 20mms with explosive shells with much bigger.. maybe different colored sparks?? Rounds over 30mms with biggest sparks..

This would also help settle the score with gripes over "Hey I lit you up like a Christmas Tree, and you still fly?" issues...

The hit sprites won't necessarily have to have proper graphic effects as seen in IL-2(hit 'explosions' graphically represented).. it could be current level of detail(just a sprite graphic overlapping a certain part of a plane) with just different shape(or, maybe a bit more delicate shape than the crude 'balls'??)...

I'd love more detail in this area. For instance, dust/smoke and debris as the shells hit home - it would be much more satisfying. I know frame rates are always a consideration - perhaps it could be scalable?

Due to Internet lag, what you "see" on your frontend is not always what the other guy "sees" on his frontend.

I agree that the hit sprites should be improved with different colors and impact puffs depending on the ammo.

May I add it would be cool to make the hit sprites, tracers and tracer's smokes customizable? :)

This does not affect anybody's FE with exception of your own, no game advantage as well, but looks as you want (may be cool if done realistic) and adds new games impressions...

why not do like MSCFS does? A hit will shed a few little pieces of metal, quite visible pieces of metal.

a lot of hits would shed a lot of metal shards :)

I agree here too.  I would like to see better hit sprites.  I would enjoy seeing blasts as 75mm HE shells explode.

I also dislike how much dirt is thrown up by bullet hits 30 feet into the air, but hit sprites are uniformly tiny even at full zoom.
