Okay..if I use the Germany map for htc, mindanao, celebes, ndisles, or any other large map, i can only host for a few minutes before the computer goes to a blue screen of dead saying some toejam about driver_irql_not_less_ or some such nonsense.
I can host smaller maps with no problem. in fact, used the ffa30 map last night and the arena is still up.
i am running a 633 celery, 128mb ram, nvidia vanta with newest drivers, and windows xp.
anyone got an idea???

i cannot believe i am the only MOFO with this problem...anyone else have a clue what is going on here???? HTC???? anyone????

okay...the PC doesnt crash as long as no one is in the room when i am hosting one of the HTC maps. As soon as someone enters it takes a short time for the PC to go to blue screen

okay this is bizarre. last night i was able to host one of pokies island maps for about an hour and then left it on and went to bed. I awoke through the night and the arena was still up with people in it. the next morning i turned on my monitor to find the wonderful blue screen of death. I neglected to mention earlier that it says something at the bottom about a physical memory dump. If this is an XP problem I would gladly revert to ME (although with a heavy heart). I really need to know what is going on. I play in main arena sometimes (yes i subscribe), but i get most of my fun from playing h2h and shooting down 12 year olds... :p
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get the exact message from the memory dump and post it.
