My film veiwer was working perfectly before recent patch and i made a few preliminary films to test.after patch it went skewiff but I then used the little file to get it up and running again.

However now it wont play any of my films when i try to make avi's out of them, even the new ones. I can watch them but no AVI conversion

it says they are 'invalid or old format'.

what should i do?

i get that message when trying to append 2 films together

PLease can ANYONE  help me with this?

the film editor is next to useless for me until i sort this problem out.

I have a lot of old films which im sure you guys would enjoy :).

ok ive fixed it after several reinstall attempts.
