Title: Host Timed out

Can't even sign-on, always receive the Host Timed out message with each attempt to sign-on.  Anyone else receiving this error.

Some additonal info, I was able to sign-on for about 20 minutes last night, however, I got bumbed and again was unable to sign-on, each attempt received the Host timed out message.  Today, I was able to connect but unable to move nothing worked, all I could do is stand in the tower and watch.  Frame Rate showed as 7.

Same here i was playing earlier 2day and now its host error or w/e and ive disabled my firewall still no luck and not much info on this problem  :headscratch:

IIRC, this is because there is a delay while loading the game textures and graphics. If the game assumes it's taking too long to load the host will time out. May want a better informed person to confirm or deny my cogitations.

If you are trying to play the game through a satellite connection it could cause this.
If you are trying to connect through a wireless connection, it could cause this.
If the game takes too long to load, it could cause this.

A DXDIAG will help to resolve the last issue, but the first two may not be something easily solved.
