Title: Agree to disagree?
Post by: hblair on March 26, 2002, 10:38:15 AM: The O'club has been a little more hostile than usual lately, especially with the gay threads that have been going the last few days. There are some of you who can debate something without getting emotional and all pissed off, then you got the guys who want to go in for the kill because of a disagreement in conservative/liberal philosophy (on both sides). Just want you all to know that I hold no hard feelings with what you type here. But lets try to keep it fair. If we disagree with each other, let's just disagree. There's no reason to start WWIII over this mess is there?

There are some guys who get it. Sandman comes to mind. He's a pretty liberal guy (IMO), I disagree with just about all he has to say, but I think he understands that we can agree to disagree. Same with easymo and several others. Just because I have conservative views on things doesn't mean we can't respect each other does it?

Now, shut up and agree with me you scum-sucking liberals. ;)

Hblair, BTW, what's the story on that pic of (presumably) you and your son in the boat? Just curious cause I'm a boat person myself.

OK, truthfuly, I can't get angry on a BB because I know if I met any of you in person we'd find out we have alot of common ground. And Ripsnort and Maverick would probably be damn good neighbors to have because conservatives tend to keep their lawns up better than liberals do and the seldom make noise past 10 PM.
