Try opening the program this way. Click on start and run. Type explorer and click ok. Navigate to c:\programfiles\htc\aceshigh\
Find the aceshigh.exe Double click on that and let me know what happens.

So when you opened it from windows explorer you did not get the missing film file?
Did you get the crash if you choose h2h or online?

The same problem when i start AH from the windows explorer. AH crashed down to the desktop. When i putt the Offline - Button it`s the same, too.  And after a new installation allways : "I can not open the ahfilm.exe." But i have no ahfilm.exe. :-(

Your shortcut shouns corrupted. You will need to delete it and create a new one. Try renameing your settings folder, going back into Aces High, choose your normal video settings, and put a check in disable paletized textures and enable mip mapping.

Need more information about your system, OS, etc.  Do you get any error message when it crashes?  What video and sound card are you running?  Have you tried downloading a fresh copy in case the download is corrupted?
