OK, I dare you. I throw down the glove.

Here's mine; let's see yours!

November of 1974, IIRC. Got my wings December 7th of 1974.

Deja, Put yer money where yer keyboard is.   :)

Animal, Standard USAF UPT, T-37, T-38 , KC-135 Combat Crew Training, RC-135 Replacement Training, KC-135R, RC-135C/D/M/V/U (variants), T-38 again for a short while , Cessna Citation (ATP), Boeing 727-200, B737-200, L-1011, B737-800, B757-200, B767-200/300/ER.

Qualified in all those, all seats at one time or another except the L-1011; only S/O and F/O in that.

But I want to see pictures! C'mon you old pharts.. dig 'em out!

I'd show a pic of me from 75, but its just me and my brother standing in a wading pool in the front yard.  If I had to grab a pic of me next to (or in) a fighter, it'd have to be from the 80's... and the internet just isn't ready for that one yet.;)

I've sat in several fighters... never flown in any.  Flown in virtually every type of Air Force cargo plane as a passenger... and too many comercial airliners to remember.

Sometimes I envy you Toad... thanks for limitting that envy by actually posting a picture;)

1. If you knew more about me, trust me, you wouldn't envy me!

2. Friends don't let Friends fly Airbus! Lockheed L-1011 TriStar... the best "flying" (stick and rudder) transport I've ever had the pleasure to fly.

3. I've still got almost the exact same hairline I had then. Maybe a little recession at the top of the forehead.. a little. Problem is the rest of the forest seems to have been thinned out some since those days.... it's there, but it's just not as thick.  :)

Ah.. thanks for clearing that up.  I thought the L-1011 was an Airbus for some reason.  Did not know lockhead made much in the passenger jet department.

And I envy the flying part.  I don't envy the always having to use "I'm a pilot" as a come on line... or things like that.
