And no I dont adjust the gamma or brightness either on my monitor.
Also dusk, twilight, or early morning makes for some really cool ground battles.

I'd like night to be longer, the way it used to be

Post by: Gunthr on March 29, 2002, 01:27:39 PM: I like it. I support it. I do sometimes jump over to the Combat Arena when it gets dark though, if I don't have a lot of leisurely time to fly. Numbers tend to increase there when the MA is dark...

It would be nice if dusk/dawn was a bit shorter.

I don't often fly at night, unless I can take off before it gets too dark, otherwise I tend to crash into unseen hills, trees or other objects. By the time I have completed a long distance run in a Lanc, it is usually getting light anyway. Otherwise, taking an Osty or PT boat out in the dark is a lot of fun! :)

1 shorter icons in ma ..maybe max 4k
2 search lights at towns and bases..
3 only aircraft that were used as night fighters being allowed.
4 ack to be less accurate so you could fly a little lower..at moment you can take of in the dusk and not reach target till dawn.
5 better mini bar on the lancaster..
i know some of these things are a bit fanciful but im serious about the bar:D

Makes you get back to basics. Plus its a great time for ground vehicle attacks.

HTC has tried it both ways. I prefer nights in.

However I could go down to having night once a day instead of twice.

Hence you're less vulnerable and have more of an advantage over the other guy ussually at night if you see him first he is all but dead.

IMO Night in AH is one of the best features in the MA in fact I wish it would last longer and I do not have any gamma corrections or anything of that matter,not only because it doesn't work,but because I like it better that way.

IMO I think night should stay here heck it's not even that long ussually lasts for 15 minutes and then it's bright again.

Night is one of the things that initially attracted me to AH. That and the clouds.

I assume that anyone who hates night would also like to see the clouds go away too. After all, visibility is not optimal for a dogfight in the clouds.

Seriously, I have some of my best missions at night. I love getting on the deck, turn tight, and collect those proxies.

And as I have read in many posts above, I do not do any monitor tricks or gamma. If you like night you probably don't either.

Dust/Dawn should be about 5mins each.
Day 3 hours, night 1 hour.
Cons at 2k.
Search lights at AFs would be cool.
Runway lights would be cool too.
