Title: I'm sold on AH!!

With not much time to spend with a computer I tend to put 'fun' at the top of my requirements for computer games and AH definitely met my requirement that night.  I logged onto the main arena for the first time Wednesday night and had a fun time.  I'm still clueless to all of the intricacies (not a flight sim person)  of the game but I think i'm slowly learning the ropes.
 
I managed to get waxed several times but I was also able to bag 1 or 2   P38 Lightnings from the tailgun of my B26 (I swear they just seemed to hang there as a gift! ha ha) on my first night.  I need to find out how to check my stats!

I'm looking forward to trying out the main arena a few more times before my two weeks of free play have expired.  I think this is a good deal and will encourage my friends to give it a go.  Keep up the good work, HTC!

Hi Packy. It's nice to see you're enjoying the game. :)

Be sure to download the help file from the downloads page. It will really help in understanding most of the game.

What isn't covered in the help (all the basics should be there) can be explained if you ask questions here on the UBB.  :)

As far as fun, I don't think I've had an un-fun night yet.
That's since tour 1.    :D

get ready to become an aviation enthusiast. when i first started playing AH i didnt know anything about WWII and thought planes were gay. now i know 10x what i did before and am planning on going to college to become a pilot.

Welcome!!!  Our squadron came from  Air Warrior in January and we all love it here.  Alot of us are either Active Duty Air Force or retired/separated military members....we have others that range from doctors to car people to guys that own air conditioning businesses....WE ALL LOVE IT HERE.

Good luck in the arenas and good luck in your aspirations.

PIMPJOE.....GO FOR IT MAN!!!!  Flying rules and I love being paid to fly....even if it isnt tons of dough....flying for the AF is alot of fun and have been doing it for 12 years now and wouldnt change a thing!

Good to see another online pilot added to AH!

I found AH about a little over a year ago and became hooked.
I quit my account 2 times trying to get a life away from AH but here i am again back to AH.

my look at it is AH is cheeper then drugs but more addicting!  :)
