to such a kind and wonderful lady.

Perhaps the most nicest and kindest member of the Royal family ever and she'll be remembered forever!

We share the same birthday of august 4th. She's always been in my mind on that day even though I'm American.
Sorry for your loss Britons....

Just saw the news. :(
She showed some real grit during England's darkest hour.
-
My condolences to the country of England. Even as an American, I always had a lot of respect for that lady, even more so than some of our own leaders.
Sorry for your loss.

GB was blessed to have her for 101 years....still a loss.:(

Leadership.
Her actions during the war earned her my undying respect.
-
She certainly earned a rest. She had a great and long life and her country was blessed to have her.
-
My condolences.

I'm pretty sure she was already revealed to pass away.. People who go over 100 years usually just wait for the prolonged death.
So in that sense you shouldn't feel sad, she had a long and glorious life, you should celebrate that. It was her time.
-
Her passing away reminds me of how great mothers can be.
I have never known a more forgiving, kinder, thoughful person.
My respects.

She's was the last of the great royals, and the only living member I had any true respect for.
The remaining are a waste of space and I'd like to see them pensioned off.

She was a product of her times...In her day she was considered liberal minded, sociable and down to earth.By today's standards she was a boozy racist and rather ruthless snob...But history is written by the survivors..And she was one........
