Post by: Bodhi on March 30, 2002, 03:03:22 PM
Hey all,

I just bought an:

AMD 1800+
Asus A7V266-E Moboard
512 meg ddr ram
Geforce 3Ti200 64 meg card

OS is Windows XP home

I can not get AH to run.... it keeps locking up.  No problems in other programs.  Anybody have an idea how to fix it?

Just the standard replies-

Do you have the current 4-in-1 drivers installed?

Do you have the current DirectX?

Do you have the current Nvidia drivers?

Do you have the current sound card drivers, or are you using onboard sound?

When I built my rig I had a similar problem. AH would simply die when I would try to enter the game. I never found the problem, I reformatted and went back to Win98. I have since gone back to WinXP, and no problems have been encountered.
