I'm sure there is no way you would be able to get anything to drink at the Con.  Alcohol laws in the US are strictly enforced.  And there is never any booze just laying around at Cons, or drinking in the hotel rooms.  All drinking is done under the strict supervision of the Grapevine SWAT team.  And certainly neither myself nor the FDBs would consider providing alcohol to a minor, nor do we have any personal experience with such activities.

If you don't come, you will be almost as much of a p___y as Creamo or (I can't believe I'm saying this) Gordo.

No one would ever provide alchohol to a minor at the con!:D

Exactly Moose, just like in Dayton.  Northolt Wing makes it our special responsibility that all minors have no access to alcohol at flight sim meetings or cons.

Yes and I know that FDBs have a strict policy of never allowing squaddies to be abused while drunk.

This thread convinced me to come this year...so far its looking like 95% chance..still working out the OT issue, we have a major block point that was scheduled for 1st week in August, but looks like its pushed up to last week in July...here's to hoping!

I wish I could come but I am taking a couple days off the week before and it would be in bad form to do it the next week :(

Going to GenCon the week before for 4 days...(yes, I am a geek)

I will see if I can manage, but even if I could there is no way I could haul my computer there (full tower weighs in at about 60 pounds)

I aint risking getting my dear squadmates in jail just cause I had a few tasty Piña Colada, Bacardi Breezers, and Blue Curacao!!

FDBs will be right at home in jail.  They have already developed some social skills (supressed gag reflex) which will serve them well.

I bet Animal drinks wine coolers too.
