Title: Planeset for the future
Post by: TheOxman on April 04, 2002, 12:01:19 PM
Just a question: how long does it take to create a A/C in AH from scratch? not that i am saying it's taking too long, not at all. hitech is doing a fine job. Just asking. Who is one who makes the final decision to create new A/C and such. (Who's arss do i have to kiss)
I know i cant be alone on this one, i was wondering whats the next planes HiTech had in mind for the next release. We all read about what people want more LJN, more U.S. ..etc.
I find myself like a thread junkie when it come to finding out what planes are going to be created next. I get so excited, like a poodle on crack. When ..huh! WHEN!!! Yea! YEA!!. Sounding like Bevies and Butthead. Need that next morsle of info.
The planes i want are irrelevant, cause' we all have our 'wish lists'
I was just wondering about these things

We don't like to release lists of what we are working because if we get behind, parts get cut from the release.  Then people would get all crazy, and they'd say we were lying to them, etc.  We will only release plane info and screenshots when the new planes are close to finished.  So you'll just have to be patient.  ;)  I'm sure it won't be long before we announce a couple of new additions.

There actually was an interesting question in that opening post.  On average, how long DOES it take you guys to collect all the information and model a new aircraft?  When you figure I'm using production P38L flight information on line and you're not off by much you seem to nail the model down pretty hard before you let it out the door.

Of course NOW we start the rumor mills.  (mis)Quotes like "HTC said they're going to have five new planes out next week" and such.

Let the games begin!  :p
