Title: It's a movie star!
Post by: midnight Target on April 04, 2002, 05:43:04 PM
Well done sir Raub....here is the whole story:

Quote
The aircraft at the museum is a movie star stunt double. Our aircraft is actually a BT-13A, serial number 41-1414.  This aircraft crashed with 1553 airframe hours at Cochran Airfield in Macon, Georgia and was disposed of as surplus. It found its way to Hollywood where it was modified along with eleven other BT-13's for use in the movie Tora! Tora! Tora!
