Title: B17 Gunner kills under Fighter!?

I was just looking over my score, and it says I have gotten 5 kills in a fighter and none in a bomber, yet I killed 2 people in my fighter, and 3 as a gunner in a 17, my assissts have also been melded in with the fighters when they were gunner assissts, is anyone else experiencing that?

I belive they are 'fighters' and 'bombers' as in targets, regardless what you are flying.
