The Mongrels took a little poll to see how old we all are. Three years ago our average was in the lower 30's. It has jumped quite a bit. We see to be attracting some old farts. ;)
I heard from most everyone. It turns out the average age of our squad is 40.2 :)
42, 43, 50, 38, 40, 35, 55, 49, 27, 48, 42,29, 35, 55, 29, 37, 39, 34, 54, 24, 27, 49, 44.
Anyone know the ages of their squad members and what the average is?

It took you ten minutes to make that mission? What happened to the other eight? - Swagger

The Bastards? most of them are in their 30s I believe, I am the youngest at 19.
They envy my youth and my accent.
-
i think the assassins are in the mid to late 20s
you got younguns like pj and I bringing the avg. down :)
-
Groinherz are in their 30's too, some raise the bar (a guy who worked with Pink Floyd), some lower it (We have leather diapers too)... I ain't giving any names here :)
-
If me, Roper and Iron would leave the AKs, the average age would probably be 30. As it is, our average has to be somewhere in the 40s.

Lentolaivue 34:
-All members (33 pilots)(AH and IL-2)... 29.9 yrs
-Only AH players (14 pilots)... 28.4 yrs
-Youngest... 16
-Oldest... 42
I would have thought AH players to be older in general but was wrong :)
-
Nightmares VMF-101 average in the low 40s, ranging from twenties to our oldest, a Korean Conflict Vet at 72 years old :).

I think the oldest guy in Northolt Wing is 50 and the youngest is 18. Most of the guys are between 25 and 35.
-
Im a old fck, 38 years young no problems beating the hotshot youngsters still :D
As long as I can beat my way home after a wet night at a pub, with screaming 20 years old hotshots asking if I wanna fite them, im still the man I used to be hehe. (coming home with only 1 eye open as usual ehhhh
airguard:confused:

16-60, and everything in between here.
-
Hey Daddog, if you wanna bring the average WAY down, recruit Dlamb and his cohorts. That one simple move will knock years off of the average squad member age.
-
13th Tas Spring Chicken is Beemer at 40, I think.
So average age about 44-45.
-
1st Raiders from 35 to 52.
Drifter
-
henh.
puppies.
-
Moose I think we're older than that..
guys like me bring up the average :)
-
I'm not entirely sure, but I *think* I am the youngest member of Jg2 at 24. AG is 27 or 28, I believe everyone else is late 20's, early 30's.
AH is going to have an older 'community' than a lot of games- we have to pay to support our habit lol.

Hmm, I wonder if we have the oldest flyer in Aces High? I would have thought someone would be older, but maybe not :). I won't tell you his name, but he can still remember sitting around the family radio as a boy in 1941 and hearing about the attack on pearl harbor!

Sorry Guys but I think TIGER Squadron has the oldest flyboy out there.....

I'll have to get my dad started and form a squad. He was a B24 nose gunner in WWII. I think that'd make him the oldest player.
Then again, he's more of a recreational combat sim pilot, and I'd rather he continue playing golf so I can keep taking money off him on the 18th green :D
-
You got that Dawggus!
It would be great if we could get more "legacies" flying in AH....the comraderie and stories that they can bring to the game and to young guys like us are invaluable....lets not let that history die!
:)

Not sure how old Spec3 is, without him we have about 25.6, will raise a bit when I know his age.
-
The Buccaneers - average age - 44, as near as I can average guesses of everyone's age.
Pretty old considering that we have a teenager in the group.
We have 18 active members, 17 of which I know personally.

The 332 Viking Squadron is Totaly 484 years of experiens  , or is it unexperience:D, of total of 16 Pilots from the Eldest at 42 to the youngest at 17.
That wil make our Squadron to have a average of 30.25 years;)
-
I enjoy being a fat old bastard, because it makes it even more humiliating for the young N1K dweebs whose arses I hand back to them on a plate :D
-
The average age of the pilits in the Cactus AirForce is probably 38 to 44. One of our guys (an FNG) is 23 years of age. The oldest is me at.... well if told ya I'd hafta kill ya :D Many of our guys have been flying combat sims since the old AW DOS days, and we are still around.

Eskimo, don't some of your squadies live here in Colorado.. the springs to be exact ?

We might be throwing off the curve a little because the Academy has age limitations, but the 34th Highland Raptors are all between 18 and 22, with our one outlyer who's 25. Good news is he'll be graduating soon, so the average will go back down.

Guttboy, you mean you hadn't heard? The Blue Zoo has indeed had a squadron in AH since about version 1.04. Funny thing is, some of us are halfway decent at it now. Look us up sometime, 34th Highland Raptors Composite Group.

Any of u USAFA guys remember a Coach (Major) Englebretson?
-
Mjolnir,
Good luck at graduation....DONT DO WHAT I DID!!!!!!! Chasing the Arnie's Pizza Van on the Terrazzo on a Friday night before a SAMI in the only black Toyota Supra Turbo on campus gets you stuck at base for Turkey day! Also, Dont go skiing at A-Basin and get your boot and ski caught in a rockslide 2 months prior to grad...you will have to stay and work for the cadet wing and that is truly a bummer before flight training.
Good luck.....check out AFSOC for your plane of choice....if you get any variant of the MC130 Ill be flying with you out here at Kirtland at the school house......
On the coach name dont remember it.....
BY the way if you USAFA guys have a squad yell out on a couple of nights and Ill chat at ya. 9mill is a grad as well flying at Kadena in the MC130 and just got selected for LtCol....congrats Chris.
Another note.....I wonder why they closed both my squadrons...37 and 38.....could it be it produced too many deviants....I THINK NOT :D
-
sounds like it may be time for a Colorado Mini-Con
gutboy... better yet, don't ski at A-basin
-
Heheheheh
But who can pass up that cornice at the top? Not I said the mouse....lol
