It was by far the most common Spit IX.  And there were a couple thousand nearly identical Mk. XVI that saw combat too.  However I have a hard time crying for more RAF planes after the recent bonanza with the Hurricanes, new Spits, Mosquito, Boston, etc.  :)

I agree with funk, too many Spits already.  And you said it yourself Citabria, "Spit FLEET".

We need more Japanese, early war American aircraft and some Russian aircraft.

I can't find it in me to ask for more RAF aircraft right now.

(BTW, Funked, only 700 or so Mk XVIs were built)

1,054 Mk. XVI were built.
Mk. XVI might be a way for HTC to introduce a typical 1943-1944 Spit and a classic clipped wing Spit.  Same 3D model as the current Spit except for the armament (E Wing) and the taller fin.  And identical performance to the LF IX, except it rolls like a 190.  :)

Isn't this the 'fester' 'tard who called all Spitfires "studmuffinass planes" after getting his bellybutton handed to him repeatedly by Leviathn?

I really wish we get some Soviet planes too, or lendleased ones, like aircobra. I know, that very few supporters of a Soviet planeset left here, but it is not the reason to keep one of the biggest sides in ww2 deprived of planes :)

I'd go for a Yak3 and an Iron Dog.  The P39 was, acording to the book I'm currently reading, a very nice aircraft until the twits at Wright field got ahold of it.  Bell was about to go belly-up so they couldn't do much to stop it.

Most of the MA is on the deck, and shockingly enough so was most of the Eastern front air campaign AIUI.  What a co-inkadink.

Extra points for anyone who caught that last reference.  :D

Yes, give us a clipped-wing Spit with the blown hood!
