Title: ACM training
Post by: interceptor750 on April 12, 2002, 01:03:34 PM
I am going to give this help thing one last try.I have posted 2 other times and the only trainers that have ever responded asked for my scedule and that was the last I heard from them. I am open almost every weekend and evening after 6pm MT (Colorado).

This is the first flight sim Ihave played and I have been flying since Dec. I like to fly the 38 but get killed more than anything else. I can fly fairly well but when it comes to evasives and attacks, I get killed. I have tried flying Nik's and spit's but have an even harder time with them. I have had other players contact me but I hate to bother people while they are playing so I would like an AH trainer.

heya interceptor

the trainers... are just ah players like yourself.

I used AW's training once or twice, but i have to say i learned most of what i know from Practice and Robert Shaw's Fighter Combat.
You can likely order it from any decent bookstore and Amazon.com

Think its Naval Institute Press

practice, practice, practice
Hope a trainer appears, they seem real rare these days...

WayneP,

I'm not a trainer, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.:D

Seriously, though, drop me an e-mail and I'll be glad to help any way I can.

If you havent allready, find a dedicated P38 sqaud and wing up with your sqauddies and attend their training nights if they have them (which they should).

If you decide to fly P51s then i can help ya, and ya may even consider trying out for my sqaud...

email if interested.
