It has a "shaped charge" it burns it's way through armor, two models, M28= will penatrate 8 inches of armor. M31= 10 inches armor, 20 inches concrete , range 350 yrds,

Never saw one launched like that , we had a tall clipon rear sight cause it's a high angle weapon and it was launched with a M3 crimped round (special blank)

Also comes in smoke and illumination types

*note: this info is from 1962, but he's using a M-1 garand so i may be right.

So theoretically this anti-tank granade could destroy a Tiger II tank?

Interesting weapon.. though, I don't belive they were that capable in WWII, or there wouldn't been german tanks anymore....

That is not an M1 Garrand. It's an M1903A3.

you got the AT-bomb right but they CAN be launched from M1's....if you ever watch the movie Battle of The Bulge when the panzers first attack they use these bombs fired from M1's....

I own an 03A3. The rifle is an 03A3. Take a look at the distance between the trigger guard and the rear-most edge of the upper handguard. Then compare again. Note that the rifle (with grenade) has an aperture sight mounted at the rear of the receiver.
