...I look at offline/H2H as an amazinhunk firewall myself.  Maybe something to consider.

Face find a quiet spot and stay quiet...

Don't say "don't bother me" unless someone comes after you.
If you ask and the still bother you.  Report them to HTC

and ill tell you one thing about HT and his staff, they dont really care about your complains. i have reported a few peeps and i know other guys that have done the same thing? and what happend? they dont really care . all they say is if you have a prob. go to the dueling arena . thats all so dont bother e-mailing anything to them and wasting your time. if you wanna fly solo go offline or go to a empty field far from the one where everyone is .

ps i even tried recording .. and what did i get ? NOTHING

Obviously you don't have a clue about the HTC staff.

This individual made pretty much the same claim earlier. This was in the TA while he and several other players bombed then captured a field that was being used by other players obviously in another "country".  Mav7 was providing an escort for the bomber in a 262. Perhaps he is correct in that this type of behavior is being tollerated.

I've said it earlier and I'll say it again:

TA needs online trainers with boot capability.
Trainers will be gods on the TA and people who won't comply to the rules get booted..

That solves the chaos instantly. When the trainer is around, he'll tell people what to do, give lessons and even direct more experienced players to train the complete newbies..

Now if we only would find good trainer candidates that won't have the poop rise to their heads because of the status.

This really needs some kind of action / response from HTC as the previous actions have been / are ineffective.

The best way to handle this is to call us directly at the office, if other forms of communication are falling flat.  Otherwise, provide proof of your problem via screenshots or film, and we will deal with the problem people.  I honestly find it hard to believe that if you provided a film of abuse that we didn't do anything about it.

My question would be: If you want to train by yourself and don't want to be bothered (helped by some qualified in the TA) why not fly offline and save HTC the bandwidth?

Think Rude may need to consider this one for next week. :D

Geeeez, no offence but Mav7, you really don't seem to know a single ting about HTC, maybe it's because you're new or maybe it's because you do things wrong but I tell you this, to keep the community nice and clean from people who make it bad, is probarly the thing that HTC is most serious about, I've never seen a company put out so much effort for it's community as HTC does. The tech suport is exelent and every time I've mailed them and sent in screenshot/film (and I have a few times) I have gotten a reply right away, and if they have enough proof they WILL take action, not long ago Yankee did it in the MA.

So don't come and say HTC don't care because that is just pure BS, go do some research before ya attack HTC like that again

Superfly,

I have and did send a notice about this including 2 films of this particular situation. I no longer even get a notice of receipt of the e-mails any more and the situation doesn't change. The time I found 2 hackers I did call and HT got them both in the act. I sent filme that day as well.

Given this kind of response what else are we to think? I don't know if it got "lost", ignored or corrected, hence the hoping it would be acknowledged here.

Superfly,

An update. I did hear from HT about this but it came to an e-mal account I can't access until I get home from school. Unfortunately school is 120 miles away and I don't get home until Thursday or Friday evening.

Sometimes emails get lost along their way to us.  I've had it happen to me quite a few times.  That is why I suggested calling or sending a private message via the UBB if you don't here anything back.

My first time in the TA and the only time in the TA (for an hour tops.)  I was cowardly shot from behind by a person who thought they were proving something.  I got in a Lighting and shredded him to bits.  Then, to mash salt in the wound, he knocked out an engine.  I proceeded to use the ailerons and performed a few stunts that left the person puzzled.  He backed of after that and I was then able to commence different manouvers.  I'll bite back.   I may be new to this game, but I'm not clueless.

If given permission, have fun.  I went into the MA after an hour of getting used to the "feel" of the planes.  I won't be going back to the TA, you only learn by trial and error.  I'm the error stage right now, but give me time.

Jay

jeeze, before you all attack the guy, he's basing his opinion on his experience..

if his experience differs from yours, why does that make him wrong?
