hiya all:
Did any of you know that Canada has the largest french population in the world that has not surrender to anybody. :D
-
They surrendered to Wolfe's army after the Battle of the Plains of Abraham.
edit: Damn wolfe, I just noticed you're from Canada...you should know that.

Canada was not yet a country then, so they did not surrender in Canada so to speak.
:p
-
Heh, you could say they haven't even surrendered to Canada yet.
-
Well now, we've never played Cowboys and Canadians yet now have we? :D
-
milenko:
better be careful, you may just end up with the french in your country. and the rest of Canada will help them pack there bags. :D
-

Not a country per se, a loose confedation of eskimo tribes. Our leader is choosen through a complex ritual involving hockey, beer consuptiom and something called the "Tim Bit".

Makes a nice change seeing you colonials squabble amongst your selfs....
-
Strange.......I thought Canada was the 53rd State?
-
Another intresting fact... actually lets make it a question:
Can you name 3 European capitals (cities) which were not conquered during WW2? (Excluding countries that did not participate in war)
-
London, Edinborough and Cardiff.
(Do I win a prize?)
-
No you don't - you forgot Moscow and mis-spelled Edinburgh ;)
-
London and Moscow are correct... but 1 is still missing :)
I hope u agree that Wales and Scotland are part of GB and do not have national capitals... some locals may of course disagree :)
-
well ... what about Hell Zynski ? :D
-
yup :) You got it!
-
Thrawn: Ever notice that all the wind-bag A**holes end up in Ottawa ? ;)
Cheers,
Rifle

Wolf37,
Hmmm, I beleive you may be mistaken! Canada has surrendered on many occasions!
[surrenders by Canada in the 1900's]
- The NHL is is a prime example - it now comprised of many "french speaking Canadians" who have surrendered thier Teams! :p
- Canadians have surrendered large quantities of "Molson & Moosehead Beer" to ungreatful Yankee Hoser's!
- Doug & Bob Mckenzie surrendered the instructions to the Canadian pass time of "Beer Hunter to the USA"
- Canadians have surrendered the "exclusive rights" to Wayne Gretzky, John Candy (deceased), Jim Carry, Eugene Levy, Phil Hartman, Conan O'Brian, Alex Trebeck, Bob & Doug Mckenzie ....(where do I stop AAAAAAAA?)
