I was just in a Ar234 with no bombs at 12k going about 200. All of the sudden a 190 was on my tail about 600 out so I dived. I got up to 600 mph and pulled up just short of the water. To my disgust the 190 was still 400 behind me. I probably slowed to about 525 when I pulled level. I then see an F4U had also joined the fight. I don't think either of those planes could have obtained those speeds even in a dive plus stay in control.

I took up a D9 and an A8 and both compressed so bad that I crashed. I did make it to 600 just before I crashed. The D9 compressed sooner than the A8.

An experienced pilot in AH will use trims to pull out of a compression dive...
and both those planes can hit those speeds in a dive easily +)

well viking it could be either a) they held out until you bled some speed and then catch you in the dive when you went straight and level or b) something might have happened that increased their closure rate despite your speed.
And yes that's funky about the Dora compressing faster than 190A8 and we're still looking to pyro for an explanation why it happens since they have the same wing and elevator.

Yesterday I was chasing a F6F in a dive (me in 262), I was not only unable to catch it, but also compressed beyond trim control and crased in the water just behind the Hellcat.

Bad guy Fester put his p38 over 500 with manual trim rear a poor Fw and kill me :( .
Why for a F4u or Fw not possible to run rear a 525 mph Arado?
P.D. I need a new joy to put trim on him, i haven't enought hats or buttons. 1st i had to learn employ rudder and now i will have to learn to trim :(
