Title: CT suggestion -> RPS Spits vs. 109's

With all the riff-raff about RPS, Spit dweebs, et al, how about a RPS reduced, exclusively, to Spits and 109's?

I think we have a nice matchup with these two models to give a try to an RPS.

Could work as a 2 week tour, having models available on a time basis, replicating his date each one saw combat for the first time.

Maybe could be designed as a mini-TOD with no field captures, or, with no possibility to change sides.

The only real problem I see with this is it eliminates the buff fans. Try enabling the Ju88 and the B-26 and enabling field capture and you might have something to try.

Well, I was deliberately leaving buffs aside  ;)

I remember old CT times, when field capture was not doable, I remember good fights there.  :)

Plus, not being a permanent measure, you are only risking 1 or 2 weeks...

Waaaallllll.... the thing I see about THAT is the fact we are trying to get people IN the arena, and unnecessarily excluding a group of people for whom we wish the arena to be attractive seems backward in logic. Furballs are gonna happen anyway, no reason to leave the bomber squads out, right?

Agreed Keiran.  This sounds more like a request for a team H2H arena with more than eight people and a better connect.  :p

Before the re-birth of the CT, it had essentially been lifeless.  When asked why, by far the largest (or at least most vocal) group complained it was lack of field capture or any kind of strat.  Furballs are fun, but its fields captures that are the catalysts for those furballs.
