I saw an interview with him about 10 years ago. He seemed like a very nice old dude. He was very proud of his son.

Though Jimi had a much bigger impact on music, I also wonder where Randy Rhoads may have gone. He really only had barely more than 1-yr in the industry. But I'm just a drummer, so what do I know. :-)
