Title: A True Hero
Post by: usarmy on April 19, 2002, 04:56:19 PM
Here is a link to an article that appeared in the newspaper after my father was killed in a helicopter crash. He had over 30 years experience with 30,000 flight hours with an accident.

I only hope I can be half the pilot he was. He was my hero.

I'm sorry to hear of your father's passing, usarmy. :(

I'm glad that you have good memories of him.  I'm sure he was thrilled to have a son who saw him in the light you do.

My condolences.

US Army  Awful loss. You must have a lot of good memories with your dad. You must be proud of him, I sure would be too. What an interesting, productive life. All my best wishes to you and yours...

I have no words to say what I really want. You have had a tragic loss and a very good man has left this world. Fair skies and tailwinds always to your Dad.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy for you and all the loved ones left to carry on.  Tragedy is a dish best left unserved but alas, when it does come, be strong and be proud and above all else, love.

to you and your father.
