???

hmm strange.. at first glance i thought it was a glider...but is that a shell next to the seat..it might be there by acident.. but then if you look at the seat position it at a funny angle, which got me thinking things are not all they seem to be.. is it the actual pilots seat of some other crew members position?
this will need more ponderings...may be a clue?:)

ok here go's...
my best guess is FW189 :)
-
234?
-
Looks like it's Heinkel He-177 Greif's cockpit.
-
iTS ugly:p
-
what do the fins on the spinners do??
-
Mash potatoes, or maybe extract lemon juice.
Little known facts of WW2 history: The 189 was actually relegated to kitchen duty after it was realised she was a sitting duck for every enemy with any kind of gun in his hands (although, admittedly, a very beautiful duck)

A "Greif" with the big gun under its nose? Was it BK 50 or sumthin'?
-Charge+
-
So what is it?!?!?!
Yeah, and what do those spinny things do?
-
Prop regulation for pitch?
-
As to the spinny things, my guess is that they are vortex generators of some sort, to improve the airflow around the engine nacelles.... kinda like what heavy jets use today forward of the control surfaces.
I'm gonna guess that the cockpit is in a Gigant.
Tell us, Doctor!

Hmmm... rudder pedals look like FW-190 pedals...
