I've been using the F5 view to look back at some of my old films and it's been a lot of help in getting a handle on what was happening.
As a result I've come up with a couple of feature requests =)
Firstly I'd like to be able to lenghten the trails left by planes in order to make things clearer. Maybe by use of a slider or a couple of hotkeys?
Also It would be very nice to have the trails for different planes in different colours. At them moment complex multi-plane engagements can get very confusing with just the one trail colour.
A big part of my job is providing network stats so I know all about how hard chosing X unique and easily identifiable colours is in practice =)(HP's OpebView utility 'xnmgraph' has a very good default selection though, IMO). Even if there were only, say, four different colours for the trails I think it would makes things a lot easier to follow.
I think the film viewer is an excellent component in the Aces High package as it is, so I'm not going to lose any sleep if these suggestions aren't accepted. I think they'd be nice to have though =)

Excellent suggestion(s), can you cross post this as an enhancement in the BUG forum?

I thought you could lenghten the trails already. (I recall doing it, but I may be wrong).
The feature I would like is the "pursuit" view with my plane on the foreground and the eni on the background.

I'm not quite sure I understand. How would that differ from 'F3 <numpad 8>'?
