Hi,
this looks like a complete La-5 nose applied to the Fw 190 airframe.
The La-5 nose apparently was developed by MiG, by the way, for a derivative of the MiG-3. I'd say the poor handling qualities of the MiG must have been the reason they were forced to turn over their results to Lavochkin.
By the way, the newly built FW 190A-8/N uses a chinese copy of the M-82 as well instead of the BMW801D. The cowling is a normal Focke-Wulf nose, though.
Regards,
Henning (HoHun)
