Speaking of which 30mph winds at the 8.5k base are a bit too much just flipped me sideways on takeoff twice before i realised what the hell was going on and used different runway.
Or am i not being realistic enough ?

we had a 234 raid on a Rook HQ with 234s. we got stuck in the windlayer becuase are speed was going to fast then we dive back down into it so we had to manualy bring are bird above it :\

same here cav 8 hits hard a bit overdone. afaik windlayers really should only effectv your position relative to the ground as they are now they can flip you.

please reduce these

Did the pilots of ww2 have this same problem?  Yes.

Did God turn off wind because the wind was too strong? No.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

well, i usually dont chime in on a post like this

but i dont think i've ever had 30mph sustained winds whipping around my house for days straight

maybe during a nor'easter or hurricane bob :)

eventually i'm sure we'll see a moving weather front with it's own wind patterns. that'd be real neat and a lot more realistic then anything else i've seen except maybe ms flight simulator

cherlie wind doesnt blew your plane over at 8k.

Wind layers in ah arent realistic at at all.

a 10mph wind on the deck will stap a lvt from moving.

please return the windlayers to what they are normally

or better yet lets get rid umm.
