OK what's with these sales people advertising their products on the UBB? I don't mean banners I mean actual post.

I know I'm a dick but I come in here to argue not read Ads.

Your right.

HT can you do something about this? last thing I or I would feel alot of people want to see are Ads on the BB.

Please put a stop to it if you can.

There's a bit of a difference between someone from this community posting a link to your site and you coming here yourself and advertising it.

I'm sure the service is apreciated... its just a bit taboo to push it in this manner.

Sorry if I came off sounding a bit harsh but I was very short on time and I wanted to say something about it before I left.

I didn't mention names because I didn't want to start a flame war over something that was easy to fix.

I understand some guys want info and that's ok I just would hate to see this UBB turn into one big ad for tampons or jock itch cream!

reminds me when I first discovered newsgroups in '94

thought I'd found a FREE way to advertize .. until the moderators jumped me butt :)
