Fall 2002? Damn.

It captures flight speed as well as Flanker 2.5. That's a good thing.

The mirrors are fugged. When the plane is pointing at the ocean, you see ocean in the mirror..???, and pointing at the sky, you see sky in the mirrors..???

I think some "effects" were added in post production...

The rest looks good, though.

hehe dux, you're right.  Still looks very nice nonetheless.  I cant stand the wait... you read articles about "the next big thing!"  only to find that it will be released 8,000 years from now.  Ahh well, Fall 2002 isnt that far away.

Wow, I wore my eyes out finding that flaw, still believe you did, but jeez.

To think they programmed "effects" to "wow" you in a movie. Mybe. I guess they could.

Is there any sane Anal High players left?

No he isn't. I'll watch it 10 more times just for the speed code suggestions anyways.

Relax, its not even in ALPHA stage yet!
Its a little too early to be looking for errors.

Don't get me wrong... I'm anxious for this game to come out. Most of the reason for my earlier reply was to point out to the people who have been asking for mirrors in AH that this sort of thing ain't so easy, and if you see another game doing it, it may not be entirely true.

I'm sure they'll work it out. Can't wait. :)

It might be a programming hoax, do I think so? No.

I’m daft on online gaming stuff I admit, I just pay and play, (I’m new to the jargon still, MMOG?). It means a lot of players in a arena, I figured that out.

But in detail it means lotsa people playing a game limits bandwidth, so much mirrors must be hoaxed in the next generation? Dunno. I doubt it.

Single player games have no problem. I can understand bandwidth, so it seems somewhat reasonable.

I’ve learned from the BBS that an online game that has a bunch of people has limits so I’m told. Seems right.

I still question cockpits that have real gauges takes hordes of programmers and graphics artists to change what you see in a 2D scalable cockpit? I don’t get it, but still. Fine.

I’ll just play and wait, cuz really, I don’t get it all.

Im guessing, yes Dega, AH will, in the fall of 2002, be smooth.

read the thread again, Creamo.  He is correct about the mirrors.  They DO  appear to be showing incorrectly.  I was simply agreeing with that fact.  Go watch the movie again if you didnt see that.  I was NOT agreeing with Dux about the "adding of effects."  I was NOT critiqing the movie in any way.  OK?

Best I can describe it-

“LockOn” released a online film, making "mirrors work" to "WOW" the "MMOG" (hope that’s the right jargon) crowd into buying it. Or maybe just to test Dux’s observational powers.

Hell, who know's.

Dux is confused, Oct is correcting me, I just want to be shot because the Anal high crowd is surpassing the X-files and Oliver Stone in conspiracy theories.

Analizing a Alpha game .avi has lofted AH bbs tardome beyond reproach and prior heights, which makes the BBS less fun than the MA has been since the demise of AW.

That was a achievement.
