Maybe HTC can make a utility that allows you to create your own paint-jobs on aircraft? How about it? Thnx

This has been brought up before.  Basically it has always died because of the issues with hundreds of different paint-jobs having to be downloaded to each person.  The bandwidth and wasted downloading time is too much for some users to handle.  I suppose if you gave people an option to download user-created paintjobs it could work.  People with high-speed connections, like me, could choose to download and create different paint-jobs while those on 56k connections wouldn't have to go through the extra hassle.  Still, it is a lot of extra programming for HiTech and I don't know how many people would actually use it, even though it would be pretty cool.

My little suggestion....

Aircraft skins based on terrain and included with the terrain download..  At least then in cases where an AC had a different camo depending on the theatre it would be in place.

what about haveing a limited number of skins that will wrap all aircraft?  then a squad could choose a sceam that runs as a theme all their planes.im dont know how skins work but i have used them in other games..:)

I like Skurj's idea...it gives us more variety in the aircraft colors while not adding extra bandwidth (except for the initial, one-time download of the terrain).
