I've been flying the P-38 a lot recently and I've enjoyed it so much I've been moved to poetry...

Don't give me a ride
that torques to one side,
or one with guns in the wing.
Just give me a date with a P-38,
with guns that sound like they sing!
If I go to war I must hear the roar,
of props that counter rotate.
I'll be happy to fly into hostile sky,
strapped in my P-38.

Could you post a F4U Vrs P-38 EM when you get a chance.

There has been much comparison lately.
