Dang, but I only had time for one Me262 sortie yesterday...and I landed it with two kills. Oh, the humanity! All those perkies gone to waste:eek:. Nice couple of fights, by the way, against well driven F6F's. I almost felt guilty after shooting them down, knowing how helpless you feel when the superior plane won't cooperate and fight like you want them to. One of the kills was a HO ("I'll see your six 50-cals and raise you four 30-mm"), and the other was a one-ping hit that took his right wingtip off (man, those 30's are nasty buggers). This second fight was a two-vs-two; a 109 and my jet against two F6F's. I've got to practice that hi yo-yo stuff a bit more, since it seemed the only shot I was gonna get 1-v-1 was a HO. Ah well. Jet's are fun, but a return to props is a welcome change. Sicily, here I come!
