Would really like that.  Worst is going from fighters to a vehicle or bomber and realize after driving/flying 30 minutes your tracers are still off.

I have stopped fooling with it and taken to flying to with in 200 yards before i shoot in plane.  Would be a neat feature - I would like planes to have programmable fuel tank switching too...  but I would hate any of this to slow down other stuff.

Agreed!

In addition, I would like to have the sortie designated by loadout and not by clicking on the appropriate button....can't tell ya how many times I've scored sorties as a fighter when my loadout and intention was to attack. But, like the Romans used to say..."we gotta do it Augies way"

One of those "Why didn't I think of that?" Suggestions.  Good one.

Perhaps in the clipboard list when you go to the hangar you could have a tick box next to each plane that is saved when you exit AH.

the biggest difference for me is I like tracers for bombers and AA guns, but prefer no tracers for fighters. Invevitably my first flight or two in fighters after using bombers/aa I keep lighting up the sky with tracers that obscure my aim. Or in my first flight or two in a bomber, I fire hoping to get a feel for the trajectory... but have no tracers :(

the ability to set tracers on or off for each independent aircraft/vehicle/manned AA  would be an excellent feature.

Another feature I would like.......oh boy wishing like kids before christmas here.  The only reason a pilot should take off with less then 100 fuel is if the base he is departing from or defending is less then 100 fuel capacity.  I don't think Bong or Priller would say to the groundcrew, only give me 25% fuel.  Drop tanks should be selected from the hangar as it is now,but fuel should always be 100 unless in the deuling arena etc.  This will prevent the old screw hajo trick when he logs into the game, is at a base being vulched with 25 fuel, Hajo moves to a clear base and takes off with 25%fuel.  :D

Nice idea.  Also to add to the fuel sub-thread here, AH has one annoying feature that it should be really easy to fix.  When you try to take off from a field where the fuel has been hit, you get notified that you can only take 50% fuel (or whatever).  But then you have to go back into the hangar to change your fuel loadout.  It would be nice if you still get that notification message, but then if you hit OK, the system just gives you the highest permissible fuel loadout and puts you OTR.

Great idea of the tracers!

So is Taiaha's fuel warning fly-with-max-allowed-gas button :)

I agree with both... I really don't have many problems with tracers because I shoot so bad I need some guidence...  BUT !!!  The fuel loadout automatically taking you to the maximum allowed from a base would be awsome...

Just one more thing...  Allow F10 to save your Zoom views permanently for each plane, vehicle etc...just like in the regular hat views...  I never use full zoom and I have to adjust it each time I grab a new ride...

Thanks

Boot, that's a good one, I hadn't thought of that, but yes it does get a little irritating!  Obviously I keep my views scalable when buffing, but I have a fixed zoom for each fighter I prefer.  Can't tell you the number of times I've fiddled with the zoom and ended up with the gun in front becoming the guy in back!

These are all good ideas (minor fixes to improve an already great experience), and isn't it great that we're worrying about these penny ante ideas instead of things like (over at WB) whether or not to have shadows!
