Title: Niki's and oh!! more niki's
Post by: SLO on May 03, 2002, 08:29:07 AM
takin a 109E4 for ride is a dangerous affair these days.....I see 1 niki no 2 niki's.....oh my 5 niki's 3 spits 1 la7.....la7 comes in....HO's

now I don't usually bish whine and where dresses and smell like cheese(like ruaml).....but some people need too learn ACM's....these suicide drivers are gettin outta hands....its not just suicide but ultimate dweebish no style kinda suicide....dive straight in with said dweebish plane and shoot.

There's gotta be a way to make people wanna survive instead of suicide.

I know its just a game....but what fun it is to kill with good all around ACM against a superior aircraft. IMHO

SLO:cool:
4 Wing =441 Silver Fox=

p.s. too all you dweebish suicide drivers, please go away

Man, I was on last night wit cha when all those suicide Tiffy's came in to our field...I figured it this way, for every 5-wave of suicide Dweebs, a perk plane is born. :)

HO Dweebs are easy kills.
Take the lead turn, win the merge,  and smoke his arsh.

Dweebs flying N1k1s are easy kills too.. I kill them all the time in my FW190-A5.

Let them yank and bank their E away... flip, flop, jink and yaw.. do their E blowing rudder slides... a few high-yo-yos and they are toast.

The real killers know it's not the plane, it's how you fly it.

I would rather want people to be suicidal.

An arena full of people who want to live would be very, very boring (imagine an arena full of people at 35K running from anything not 10K below 'em).  Right now there's a pretty decent balance.

Exactly. However, a highly skilled pilot flying a Niki is formidable indeed. A dweeb in a Niki is little more than practice. Since the dweebs greatly outnumber the experts, one tends not to take them seriously enough, until you meet that expert and get a wake-up call.

You know what I mean.

My regards,

The solution is award perk points ONLY when a pilot returns to base.

How is that solution going to do anything besides increase the number of people running away from me?

A suicide bomber (I can't believe people are even complaining about how other people die) is not getting significant perks, if any.  If these people were diving with the intention of dying as is suggested, why would they care that they're getting the same or maybe .1 less perks than before?

You'll have the same thing except less dogfighting.  People that don't care will still do whatever they want, and people will still complain about how other people fly.  The only difference would be the decrease in fights.

Scoring system that doesn't punish dying = more easy meat for me.  I love it.

Funny, I flew for 2 hours last night and saw a total of 3 Niks...very unusual, but the Spits were everywhere :D
